1998 Rum Nation

The Rossi family behind Rum Nation (as well as Wilson & Morgan) have a long history in importing and distributing whisky after visiting Scottish distilleries, sampling spirits and selecting the ones they considered of a fine quality.

However, after noticing the Caribbean rum casks in British warehouses - kept in the damper, cooler climate after their tropical aging - Fabio Rossi decided to create Rum Nation in 1999. To respect the regions of distilling, the rums are labeled under their geographical location rather than the distillery name and the illustration features local postage stamps.
