The 2018 Meursault Les Grands Charrons, half matured in 500-liter barrels with 20% new oak, has an attractive bouquet of almond, quince and light pressed white flower aromas, plus a light buttery note in the background. The palate is taut and delineated on the entry, featuring lovely orange zest and tangerine notes, and becomes more lime-driven toward the finish, leaving noisettes on the aftertaste.
