Tormore 1988, 30 years old, TWC 2nd Anniversary Bottling

A Tormore distilled in 1988, aged 30 years in a hogshead and bottled as one of two whiskies for The Writing Club 2nd Anniversary.

A Speyside single malt, this Tormore embodied the characteristics of the distillery as well as the influence of the cask that nursed it to maturity. Gentle oakiness, light caramel, fruity sweetness are experienced by those who savoured it.
