Kobayashi Sake Brewery can be found 45 kilometres east from Sapporo. Here, the “Kita No Nishiki”, a famous sake that derives its name from a Japanese proverb that captures a return to one’s hometown in glory, is brewed. Brewers here believe that Ginjo and Daiginjo are works of art which truly embody the Japanese spirit, and accordingly, dedicate themselves to their production at the highest level. It is because of their commitment that their jizake brewery is recognised as one of Japan’s best.
The Houou Biden Supreme is made with the finest Yamadanishiki rice, harvested by an award winning rice farmer in Hyogo prefecture. The rice has a polishing ratio of 35%. This Junmai Daiginjo is the pride of the famous Kobayashi brewery. It is delicate and has fruity notes. It also comes with a limited edition membership card that gives you privileges when visiting the brewery in Tochigi.
