Vintage Michael Harris Isle of Wight Studio Glass Vase - "Black Azurene"

"Lollipop" vase from the series "Black Azurene", designed by Michael Harris for Isle of Wight Studio Glass in the late 70s and made in the 80s. High-quality hand-blown unique piece.

Circa 1980s.

Round lollipop shape with narrowly zoned neck. Almost black glass with light melts and with particles of 24K real gold. Slightly iridescent surface, which creates beautiful accents in shades of blue or violet.
