Am F#m D7 F#m D7 Am F#m D7 (Alabama Song, The Doors) A Work Song that marks the timing of mowing or har-vesting. It is like a people that digs and finds in the song the strength and the path of redemption. This single malt is like a chorus in Alabama song where, Blues, Jazz, Gos-pel and religious songs merge together… A pungent smell arises from the glass as a deep lament. Thus we smell unripe hints of yellow fruit, bread dough, wet meadow warmed by the first rays of sunshine and bark consumed by the weather. It is dry on the palate with salty, flavourful rich tones. The Aftertaste is slightly mineral.
“Oh, moon of Alabama We now must say goodbye We’ve lost our good old mama And must have whisky, oh, you know why”
The Doors, 1967 – Alabama Song / ”also known as Whis-ky Bar”
