“Hanging out with passionate people with the same stories to tell makes life worth living“

In Savile Row, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and he is a great fan of Liverpool soccer team.
Kevin Seah is a renowned Singaporean tailor celebrated for his exceptional bespoke menswear. Beginning his career at 17 as an apprentice in women’s tailoring, he spent over two decades designing couture wedding and evening gowns before transitioning to men’s fashion.
In 2009, he established the Kevin Seah Group, focusing on crafting high-quality bespoke and made-to-measure menswear.
His atelier, located at 5 Jalan Kilang, has garnered international acclaim for its meticulous craftsmanship. Each handmade suit requires over 70 to 80 hours of work and multiple fittings to ensure a perfect fit.
The atelier also hosts trunk shows featuring esteemed artisans and bespoke shoemakers like Masaru Okuyama, Gaziano & Girling, and Maison Corthay.
Kevin Seah Bespoke collaborates with premier English and Italian mills to source the finest fabrics, often creating limited edition cloths. Their offerings include a wide range of garments such as suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, and accessories, all tailored to the client’s specifications.
The brand has been lauded by various publications, referring to Kevin Seah as Singapore’s “top bespoke tailor.” Clients consistently praise the atelier for its exceptional service, attention to detail, and the superior quality of its garments.
I personally met Kevin in Singapore during a trip into the Far East and since then a friendship was born that still lasts despite the great distance, even after many years. Kevin is a gentleman, an oriental who loves quality products and has a taste for hand-made, tailor-made suit and accessories and he could have his windows in Savile Row.
I like his way of mixing worlds and styles while remaining faithful to the paradigms of classic male elegance to which he gives concessions like when he produced tailored jackets made with British fabrics and hand-sewed red silk linings with Chinese dragons – I like his way of treating the sacred and the profane like his proposal for Hawaiian shirts.
Then we have in common a maniacal attention for hand-made shoes, Bespoke. We share this passion that for me has paternal origins and that he manages by treating the best bootiers inside his showroom.
I love Singapore and the world that represents the British tradition with its rigor and Asian lightness that opens to creativity at mixing ideologies religions and positively contaminates a world made of classicism and precise rules.
A bit similar to Italian habits regarding creativity I hope to come back soon to visit you Kevin and I appreciate your international approach and your predisposition for good food and excellent bottles of wine – Prosit.
Thank you to The Chic And Cool and team for the humbling feature.
